CANCELLATIONS

Cancellations and No Show

Any vehicle that requires a credit card to make a reservation will be subject to a one day rental charge in the event the customer fails to show up for their reservation, or that the reservation is not cancelled 24 hours in advance. Cancellation must be done from the original reservation source.

Fuel Options

Vehicle must be returned with the same amount of fuel as rented to avoid a refueling service charge.

CDW

COLLISION DAMAGE WAIVER ---CDW IS AVAILABLE. COST OF CDW VARIES BY VEHICLE TYPE. ECAR / CCAR / ICAR / SCAR US $15.00 PER DAY WITH A US$1000.00 NON - WAIVERABLE EXCESS FVMR / XFAR / MVAR US$20.00 PER DAY WITH A US$2000.00 NON - WAIVERABLE EXCESS.

CREDIT CARDS THAT COVERS (CDW) COLLISION DAMAGE WAIVER IN JAMAICA.MASTERCARD WORLD, MASTERCARD BUSINESS AND A CHASE VISA ( NOT DEBIT OR DUAL) FOR THE USA, AND MASTERCARD PLATINUM AND GOLD (CANADA), VISA PLATINUM AND GOLD, ANY OTHER CREDIT CARD WILL TAKE THE COLLISION DAMAGE WAIVER (CDW).

PAYMENT

Payment

Debit cards are permitted. EZ Rent a Car accepts all major credit cards, except American Express No one other than the person named on the credit card may use that credit card for the deposit. The card holder of the credit card must be present at the time of rental.

ALL MAJOR CREDIT AND DEBIT CARDS ARE ACCEPTED A RENTAL DEPOSIT OF US$1000.00, (OR MORE DEPENDING ON THE TYPE VEHICLE RENTING) PLUS ESTIMATED RENTAL CHARGES IS REQUIRED.

RESERVATIONS

Min and Max Rental Length

Minimum rental period is 3 Days and reservation must be made at least 24 hours prior to pick up.

Guarantee

E-Z Rent-A-Car does not accept pre-payment for confirmed reservations for non-prepaid transaction, and you are not committed to make the associated rental. Therefore, these type of reservations are not intended to provide you with any legal or contractual right to compel E-Z Rent-A-Car, or any related affiliate, to establish a rental contract and/or transaction. Likewise, these type of reservations do not compel you to establish a rental contract with E-Z Rent-A-Car, nor will you receive any penalty or charge if this transaction does not occur.

Confirmation Number

Your confirmation number is the number that you are given once your reservation has been confirmed. This number can be used to gain access to your reservation information, including your rates, or your rental information once you have picked up the vehicle.

Drivers License

Canadian, US and International valid driver license accepted. International License will be required if license is not in Roman alphabet. International License must be accompanied by the drivers domestic license to be valid.

Additional Driver

One additional driver is permitted at a fee of US$10.00 per day. Maximum of 2 drivers is permitted.

We hold the ability to change these posted policies and procedures at any time.

TAXES/FEES

Disclaimer

Only those taxes and fees which appear in the estimated total of the reservation and/or the rental agreement are applicable for a specific location. The base rate of the rental is guaranteed for the dates and times of the reservation, but taxes and fees may be changed by a governing authority prior to arrival at the rental counter. Any changes to the taxes and/or fees will be shown on the rental agreement at the opening of the rental agreement. Adding additional optional charges such as upgrades, GPS rentals, etc. at the rental counter may effect the amounts of the applicable taxes and fees.
