Rent A Car - Discover Guadalajara
The city lives in rhythm with the Mariachi music that roots the city’s vibrant music scene, and a Mariachi festival is held every year at the end of August. If your feet move to different tunes, you’re still at home here - all genres of music are featured in the city’s clubs and venues.
The Guadalajara International Film Festival also takes place here, as well as an international book fair. Sports buffs will appreciate C.D. Guadalajara - a famous Mexican football club. The Libertad Market - the largest market in the Western Hemisphere - offers fresh food, handmade potter, leather goods, and many other souvenirs.
If you are here on a shopping trip, be sure to visit the souvenir area of Tlaquepaque, which hosts over 300 stores offering handicrafts, jewelry, crystal, artwork, and furniture. There are also eateries in several stores - so you can enjoy a meal or snack and watch mariachi bands while your items are packaged.
