Summer is upon us! As such, a horde of travelers are due to descend on Miami's golden beaches in search for some serenity and great nightlife. If you're one of these lucky people, we've put together some local hot-spots that you should definitely check off your list!

South Beach

The only thing more attractive than the people who frequent Miami are the sparkling white beaches dotted along its coastline! The most popular hot-spot is definitely South Beach. A favorite of celebrities and swimsuit models alike, the so called "SoBe" is a must-see for all visitors, and with a range of bars and restaurants along the promenade a morning at the beach can quickly roll into the afternoon and nighttime.

Made famous by the Lighthouse Family classic, Ocean Drive stretches along SoBe's coastline and is littered with palm trees and iconic viewpoints of the Atlantic Ocean. Travel along this famous street admiring the Art Deco buildings and the hordes of beautiful bodies dotted along the sand; it truly is one of the best places on Earth!

Lincoln Road Mall

No trip to Miami is complete without visiting the famous Lincoln Road Mall. An array of sidewalk cafes, stores and clubs have earned this spot the title "5th Avenue of the South." However, many natives would argue that 5th Avenue doesn't come close!

Recently benefiting from a $16 million makeover, Lincoln Road Mall hosts over 115 shops and boutiques which are designed to let you go a little loose! Famous brands such as Gucci, Jimmy Choo and Burberry all reside here, so this is definitely a spot to travel to if you're looking for a new wardrobe.

Key Biscane

For those looking to escape the hustle and bustle of the M-I-A, Key Biscane offers a serene and tranquil environment in which to relax. The most Northern island in Florida Keys, the desolate location and lack of busy nightlife make Key Biscane one of the best places in Florida to travel to in order to spend some quality time with a loved one. The romantic beaches and waterfront parks offer a calm retreat completely detached from Miami's more frantic and busy nightlife scene.

Little Havana

Miami hasn't earned the nickname "Northern Havana" for no reason! Throughout the early to mid 60's, a significant number of Cubans crossed the pond to Miami to chase the American Dream following Fidel Castro's rise to power. Many Miami natives can trace their roots back to Cuba, and so the Latin American culture is especially profound in the outskirts of the city. If you're looking for a taste of Cuban culture (or even just a good cigar and some rum!) then this is definitely a must-visit. The abundance of Latin restaurants and shops dotted throughout Little Havana are a sight to behold, each playing native Latin music that is very likely to get you on your feet Salsa dancing!

Miami's Nightlife

A hard day's shopping and lazing on the beach calls for a great night out on the town, and there is no better city to do so than in Miami! The South Beach region of the city offers glamorous clubs and bars scaling various floors which play home to many of the city's rich and famous. Notoriously expensive with a strict dress policy, these clubs are definitely for those looking to live the high life for a night or two... and rightly so! Notable mentions on this extensive list are LIV, located near the Fontainebleu Hotel and Mansion, an Art Deco theater which plays host to various hip-hop artists and models.

Wherever your Miami travels take you, don't forget to remember E-Z Rent-A-Car for any of your transportation needs! From now until June 25, you can lock in your rental rate for as low as $6 per day! Take advantage of this deal before it's over!
