The upcoming Fourth of July holiday is always filled with plenty of fireworks. Here is some of the top place to view the festivities at E-Z Rent-A-Car locations across the country.
We begin in our own back yard, Orlando. As the number 1 vacation destination, most all of the theme parks will feature extended displays of fireworks that can be seen outside the parks as well. Also in the Central Florida several cities like Altamonte Springs and Downtown Orlando also feature displays worth viewing. You will not miss any display when visiting Orlando Florida.
Seattle is home to one of the top five fireworks displays in the country. This well planned show over Lake Union located outside the city is not to be missed. A day filled with activities for kids and adults begins early in the day with plenty of food vendors. However the highlight of the day is the fireworks display. Tastefully set to traditional anthems, classic oldies and current musical songs, are broadcasted on several. The best feature is the admission is 100% free.
Addision Texas, located outside Dallas, is known as Kaboom Town. With a budget over $220,000 this display will take some time to see. Many of the local restaurants have special watching parties. This display is so large that it can be seen for miles.
The city of Coronado that is located in San Diego Bay, offers visitors a unique vantage point from which to watch Independence Day fireworks. Because of its location, visitors can watch both the fireworks on the island itself and those also off San Diego Bay as well. It’s not unusual for people to camp out on the shores of Coronado the night before the show in order to reserve a prime viewing spot.
Miami celebrates our Independence Day with bit of Latin flare. Festivities get started at Bayfront Park in late afternoon. The huge party will star some of the best local Miami musical talent and most popular Latin and reggae groups, all of which are free. There is a children’s area with interactive historical figures, and of course, the grand finale happens at nightfall with a show of fireworks over Biscayne Bay. This year’s display promises to be bigger and better than any year to date.
One of the largest and simultaneous displays can be found in Las Vegas. A huge 9-minute display can be seen shot from the roof tops of five casino properties around the city. This display is produced by the famous Grucci family. The display will be choreographed to songs from Nat King Cole to Led Zeppelin. This sounds like an event not to be missed.
