There are tons of places to have fun in Orlando, and whether you're there to enjoy the things that the tourism industry has to offer you, or you're a local that's looking for a fun time, there's something for everybody in this great city!
We've done a little looking around, and we've found some of our favorites that we wanted to share with you.
Orlando Brewing
Orlando Brewing's taproom is open seven days a week, and it's full of great organic beer. If you're hungry, this brewery partners with many area restaurants that can bring you a delicious meal while you enjoy your freshly brewed beer. Besides that? It's family- and Fido-friendly! From super bitter to bright and fruity, this brewery has flavors for every beer drinker!
Lou's Lounge
From pool to beer to significant stories that you can tell about the people-watching that you did the night before, Lou's Lounge is a dive bar for any bar stool enthusiast. This place signifies "dive bar" to the fullest extent, and if you venture here, be ready to put the word 'tourism' out of your mind, because this place is where regular locals come to mingle.
Orena Sports Bar
It doesn't matter if you're a huge fan of baseball, an undying lover of Fantasy Football, hooked on hockey, or in love with any other sport, Orena Sports Bar was built for you. This bar caters to the sports teams that bring tourism to Orlando, and it's great for locals, too!
Leo's Diner
Every great American diner is known to have amazing breakfast food that will keep you talking about it for days. Leo's Diner has made its name in tourism around Orlando, and it's loved by locals, too. This is a true diner, and the experience that awaits you here is one of genuine neighborly friendliness with great food to accompany the good friends.
Chatham's Place Restaurant
Sometimes you can't just lend your day to local dives. When you're in the mood for an upscale experience, find your way to Chatham's Place Restaurant. At this local spot, beautiful dishes are accompanied by wine and cocktails that you aren't likely to find anywhere else.
Se7en Bites
Se7en Bites is known for its delicious brunch dishes. An eclectic menu features breakfast, lunch, and brunch items that will happily fill any tummy. Don't be fooled by the fact that this is a bake shop; phenomenal savory and sweet dishes flood out of the kitchen Tuesday through Sunday.
The Rusty Spoon
While farm-to-table may seem like a catch phrase these days, some places are really doing it right. Orlando tourism isn't just built around theme parks; some of the best farm-to-table spots are located right downtown. One of the locals' most favorite spots is The Rusty Spoon. The food is so fresh here that you'll only find a sample of the foods they serve online because the menu changes daily based on the availability of fresh produce and meats.
The Gnarly Barley
You may be looking for great places that have made their name in Florida's tourism industry, but that doesn't mean that you can't take a moment to enjoy a meal and a few drinks at one of the neighborhood joints in town. The Gnarly Barley boasts bottles and drafts, apps and entrees. This is where folks that live in Orlando go when they're in the mood for their favorite watering hole.
Quantum Leap Winery
California's tourism industry is rivaled with the vines found at Orlando's Quantum Leap Winery. It's classy, sustainable, and yet urban!
